Commonwealth Bank of Australia Money Box Savings Tin c1980

A Commonwealth Bank Australia Money Box Savings Tin in excellent condition.

This is a later version of the common green/gold building money box. It is a reproduction or similar copy of the older 1960’s tin money box.

This is a shiny paint finish and stands approx 93mm high. There is no embossing for the window and door frames. It does have a re-use base cap to allow access to the contents. It is mich lighter / brighter in colour than the 1960’s versions.

As a relatively recent copy it is in excellent condition with only minor scuffing. It is still around 40 years old and a nice addition to any CBA, Money Box, or Coin Bank collection.

Listed as 1980’s but I think there may have been more made 1970’s through 1990’s.
