MacRobertson’s Freddo Cherry Ripe Tin Yoyo 1960’s Made In Hong Kong.

Good condition with some scratches, more on the Cherry Ripe side, and almost nothing on the edges. Looks like the scratches are from being stored with Freddo face up and not from use.

The yoyo is a fixed string to the axle, not a sleeper like the Coke Yoyo’s. Probably mid-1960’s show bag or promotional item. Both halves are pressed tin with lithograph printing.

MacRobertson confectionery was an Australian company commenced in 1880 and operated until 1967 when it was purchased by Cadburys. Cadburys Australia as it is now known continues to produce chocolates in Ringwood, Victoria.
