A Matchbox Lesney 14e Iso Grifo Superfast Thin Wheels Early Issue 1969 model.

Good loose condition. Paint appears a bit thin in places with some light paint chipping or wear to the high edges.

Issued in 1969 it replaced the same model (14d) with regular wheels. It is fitted with the first issue Superfast wheels which are approximately 3mm thick commonly referred to as ‘thin’ wheels or transitional wheels. Later issues of Superfast models have the more common thick wheels approximately 5mm thick.

This model is in dark blue with pale blue interior. The pale blue tow hook at the rear is missing the pin section.

Unpainted bare metal base plate with Made in England by Lesney imprint in the casting.
