Matchbox Lesney 50e Articulated Truck Yellow Blue Superfast 1973 Mint Orig. Box

A Matchbox Lesney 14e Iso Grifo Superfast Thin Wheels Early Issue 1969 Boxed model.

Excellent condition in original box. Paint appears a bit thin in places and the casting has some marks but this is all factory original.

Issued in 1969 it replaced the same model (14d) with regular wheels. It is fitted with the first issue Superfast wheels which are approximately 3mm thick commonly referred to as ‘thin’ wheels or transitional wheels. Later issues of Superfast models have the more common thick wheels approximately 5mm thick.

This model is in dark blue with pale blue interior and the pale blue tow hook at the rear. Unpainted bare metal base plate with Made in England by Lesney imprint in the casting.

The H style Superfast box is crisp and straight on all faces. All flaps are intact.
