Mettoy 8230 Dan Dare Space Ship Eagle 1950’s

Mettoy 8230 Dan Dare Space Ship Eagle, Made in England.

An early Mettoy c1955 Dan Dare Space Ship Eagle with friction sparking mechanism. The sparking wheel has marked the inside of the canopy and the tin around the slot. The underneath of the model has some  minor play wear, while the upper lithograph artwork is excellent.

The box has a loose end flap which is held in place with a paper clip while the other end of the box is intact.

Overall a lovely model with its original box.
