Description
M.L.B are the initials of Marchesini, Luigi Bologna, the son of the founder of AMB Marchesini, Agostino Marchesini. AMB made tin toys in Italy from 1908 through to the late 1950’s. In 1946 Luigi established MLB and in the early 1950’s modelled this Ferrari 125 Grand Prix. Sometimes incorrectly referred to as a Ferrari 500, the nose cone grille of the vehicle is clearly the earlier 1950 model. This model includes the working clockwork mechanism and key. The composite formed driver and steering wheel is also intact. The model is pre-loved with age wear and some general scrapes and scratched paint. The rubber tyres are also showing some age related cracks which is to be expected in a 70 year old model. A rare vehicle in any condition and a must for the Ferrari collector. This model was made around 1953.
